Last week, State Senator Loretta Weinberg visited our Morrow House assembly in advance of next month's midterm elections. Mrs. Weinberg has represented the 37th district in Bergen County in the State Senate since 2005. Before that, she was in the State Assembly from 1992-2005. She also ran as Jon Corzine's running mate in 2009 gubernatorial election. Senator Weinberg spoke to the students about the federal midterm elections, the state assembly and its upcoming redistricting, and how a bill gets sponsored and moves through committee on its way to becoming law. ~Mr. Cooper
