Cross Country Results

The Cross-country teams traveled to Van Cortlandt Park on Tuesday for their second meet of the season. Despite a week and a half without practice due to inclement weather and overnight trips, the meet was quite successful. The boys' team came in 4th place out of 16 schools, led by seventh graders Carter Hirschhorn , Justin Trout, and Jon Candler in 16th, 17th and 21st place respectively (out of 170 runners) , finishing the 1.5 mile course in 10:57, 11:01, and 11:13. The girls were led by eighth grader Egan Sachs-Hecht, who finished 6th out of 61 runners in a time of 12:24. Upcoming meets are next Tuesday at Tenafly Middle School and next Thursday at Van Cortlandt Park. ~Coach Cooper
