The soccer team had an exciting week of games. The first game versus St Bernards was a back and forth game. Chiho scored both goals for the Eagles; the second of his two goals was a tremendous shot into the upper left corner of the net. It was a hard fought game but, unfortunately, the Eagles fell 3-2 to St Bernards. In the second game versus Saddle River Day, the two teams played to a 3-3 tie. Nick, Jacob, and Basil had one goal each for the Eagles. Sang-Uk came up with the save of the year with two minutes left. On a direct kick, he jumped up and punched the ball away from the goal, then deflecting off the crossbar, to preserve the tie. In the the third game versus Dwight-Englewood, both teams played excellent defense. EMS defenders Mike M., Alex B., Sam, Alex D., Alex H., and Daniel L. helped keep the Eagles in the game, playing to a 1-1 tie. Nick M. had the lone Eagles goal off a great corner kick from Basil.
