EMS Faculty at NJAIS Conference

Today, The Elisabeth Morrow School Faculty are attending the NJAIS Conference at the Lawrenceville School. This morning, Ms. Rolle and Ms. Malmstrom (below) presented on how virtual worlds are used at EMS to develop social, visual and media literacy skills, as well as foster creative thinking, encourage problem solving and provide opportunities to collaborate within and beyond school walls.

Also this morning, Ms. Brennan and Dr. Egert (below) presented on Oral Languages and Literacy in Kindergarten. The workshop covered creative and fun ways to teach children to analyze spoken words and learn important skills necessary for language and reading development.
