Eagles Athletics Update

Girls' Volleyball Keeps on Rolling!
The Girls' Volleyball team upped their undefeated record to 4-0 with wins last week vs. Horace Mann and Tenafly. Rebecca Federman and Lauren Dickerson have led the Lady Eagles in service points this year. They play this week Wednesday @ Dwight -Englewood and Thursday home vs MKA.

Soccer wins first game of the season!
Jacob Hyman scored two goals, the last one coming with less than 4 minutes left as the Eagles defeated Collegiate 2-1. Teddy Swenson (2) and Basil Williams scored in the Eagle's 7-3 loss to Saddle River Day School. The Eagles play Wednesday at Dwight-Englewood.

X-Country
The Cross Country team has finished 3rd and 5th out of 18 schools on the Boys side and in 4th out of 10 on the Girls side. The boys have been led by Joe Del Rio and the girls by Egan Sachs-Hecht. The team runs Thursday at VanCourtland Park.

Tennis
The Tennis team complete their first matches in EMS history against Horace Mann and Saddle River. Emily Gruber won her first ever match in Doubles play. Phoebe Mattana rallied back from 2-5 to tie it up at 7-7 only to loose 9-7 in #1 singles vs Saddle River Day School. The Tennis team plays at Dwight-Engelwood on Wednesday.
