John Kraft, an archaeologist and authority on the Lenape Indians, visited the third graders last Friday. His presentation included details about traditional Lenape life, everyday village activites, and the roles of men, women and children within the family and community. The children learned so many interesting things about the native people who lived right here. The best part, however, was that they were allowed to hold and wear the artifacts which Mr. Kraft brought with him. (Post: Ms. Wein)
