EMS Cooking Club Begins

Today was the first meeting of the EMS Cooking Club. The menu included Ratatouille, consisting of a medley of vegetable, some of which we harvested from our own garden. Lots of chopping required. Mrs. Winter and Mrs. Fiocchi are the club sponsors. (Post: Dr. Lowry)

A Beautiful Day To Be In Our Playground

Flying Squirrel Drops By EMS Science Class

This morning two fifth graders, Veronique and Riley, noticed a small animal in one of the science room backpacks hanging on the wall. They said "There's a mouse in the backpack." When I investigated I noticed that it was, in fact, a tiny flying squirrel. We took it outside and it ran up the side of a huge white oak tree in back of the science room. Amazing! ~Dr. Day (post: Dr. Day)
