Japanese Teachers Visit Little School

"Recently, I was approached by Diane Cappelluti the former owner of The Young School.  In her time there, Mrs. Cappelluti had developed a realtionship with the UTREK, A Japanese exchange program, and thought we might be an excellent school for the Japanese teachers to visit.

 

While here, they observed classes, discussed philosophies of education with me and shared in games of rock scissors with the first grade class,  For the children, the idea of bridging a global community to our school, we know one another and are friends, helps foster a feeling of kindness towards our neighbors."
