Kindergarten Animal Study

Kindergarten students have been researching about animals. They used both books and the internet to gather information including; habitat, diet, characteristics and offspring. Each child created a poster with interesting facts about their animals and shared what they learned in presentations to their classmates. They have also listened to true stories about unusual animal friendships including a dog and a deer, a gorilla and a cat, and a hippopotamus and a tortoise. As a culmination of our animal study kindergarten students will take a trip to Turtle Back Zoo.
