Colonial Day has been a tradition in third grade for over 25 years. As a culmination to their study of Colonial America, third graders become colonial children for a day, experiencing The Puritan School, Ye Old Pottery Shoppe and Ye Old Doll Shoppe, dancing the Virginia Reel and enjoying a colonial feast. ~Mrs. Phend (photos: J.
